Speaker Introduction
Achia Anzi is an Israeli artist and researcher based in New Delhi. Anzi is an associate professor of visual arts and the BFA program director at the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, OP Jindal Global University,India. He has completed his PhD thesis titled“Countering Universalism: Decolonisation and the Order of Art” from Amsterdam School of Cultural Analysis in 2022. Anzi’s translation for the short stories of Urdu author, Saadat Hassan Manto was published in Hebrew by Hakibbutz Hameuchad Publishing House (2018).
Avshalom Suliman is an artist, Art educator and curator based in Tel-Aviv, Israel. He holds a BFA and MFA degrees from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. He has taught art and Art history in various schools and academies in Israel. His research focuses on shared processes of artistic creation and pedagogy.
